Contract Doming

Here are some helpful guidelines and tips on how to supply sheets of printed decals to us for doming:

• Decals must be supplied in sheet form on STAY FLAT backing sheet

• Decals must be printed on a vinyl, poly or polycarbonate substrate. No paper decals

• Sheets must be shipped FLAT (not rolled in a tube)

• Maximum sheet size is 21" x 25". Larger sizes MAY be possible but PRE-APPROVAL must be obtained from our Production Department
• Sheets MUST contain only one unique size/shape (no multiple versions per sheet)
• Multiple sheets of unique decals must have the same spacing between decals
• Minimum space between decals must be 1/8". Space between decals MUST be consistent
• Decals MUST have a minimum of 1/16” corner radius for outward facing corners & 1/16" minimum radius for inward facing corners
• Allow for a minimum 1/2" space between the decals and the edge of the backing sheet
• Die cutting and/or kiss cutting must NOT penetrate the backing sheet. Decals which are domed and, where the resin bleeds due to cutting into the backing sheet, will be charged to the client.
• Do NOT clear-coat, varnish or laminate the decals
• A vector EPS file must be supplied for each unique sheet layout showing size, shape and position of decal cut lines on each unique sheet
• Special shapes may pose unique doming problems. Irregular shaped decals MUST be pre-approved by our Production Team. Please supply vector artwork illustrating sheet size and the decal size & shape for approval BEFORE printing
• Due to light refraction, the doming polyurethane may affect some colors (especially red). If color matching is critical, a Press Proof is highly recommended

PLEASE NOTE: we will dome all decals received with a purchase order. Only those decals that are approved by our Quality Control Team will be invoiced
